Entrepreneurship - EncuentraSport
EncuentraSport empowers students to convert sports knowledge into market-ready services and digital products. Our core mission is to bridge theory and practice: we design solutions that help local clubs, federations and organisations improve operations, fan engagement and athlete performance while giving students real responsibility and professional experience.

What we do
- Consultancy: operational audits, performance analysis and coaching support for local sports clubs.
- Product development: lightweight web platforms, booking systems and data dashboards tailored for small sports organisations.
- Events & workshops: run training sessions on sports management, digital tools, and entrepreneurship to upskill students and local partners.
- Community projects: partner with regional organisations to deliver social and participation-focused initiatives that increase access to sport.

- We create a low-risk environment for students to test ideas, manage client relationships, and build portfolios that improve employability.
- Local clubs gain affordable, applied solutions that adapt academic best-practices to real constraints.
- By combining technical delivery with business skills training we help close the gap between university education and local market needs.

My contribution I lead the Engineering team and I am responsible for the technical implementation: from architecture and platform selection to integrations, analytics pipelines and deployments. My role focuses on delivering reliable, maintainable solutions that students can operate and organisations can use immediately.

Recognition & support
EncuentraSport has been presented at UPCT’s Solvers entrepreneurship program and at Banco Santander’s Explorer program, which provided mentoring, visibility and additional resources during our development phase.

Banco Santander Explorer is a comprehensive entrepreneurship program designed to transform student ideas into viable business ventures. Through Explorer, we gained access to structured training in key entrepreneurial competencies including:
- Team management: learning to coordinate diverse skill sets, delegate responsibilities effectively, and build high-performing teams
- Communication & presentation: developing pitching skills, stakeholder management, and clear articulation of value propositions
- Business model development: understanding customer discovery, revenue streams, and sustainable growth strategies
- Strategic planning: setting milestones, managing resources, and adapting to market feedback
- Leadership & decision-making: building confidence in uncertain environments and making informed trade-offs under constraints
The program connected us with experienced mentors from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, provided networking opportunities with other startups, and gave us a platform to validate our business model and refine our go-to-market strategy.

The project also received local coverage at launch and has continued collaborating with regional partners.
